Danielle Shelnut, MD was raised in Sautee, GA before attending North Georgia College & State University, and Mercer University School of Medicine as part of her education and training. Dr. Shelnut recently completed specialized training in gastroenterology and digestive diseases at Emory University School of Medicine and joined Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, P.C. in August of 2021. She is excited to return to Northeast Georgia and provide care to her hometown.
