ANKUR SHETH, MD, FACG
Before joining Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville in 2015, Dr. Sheth practiced for 5 years as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. There he trained medical students, residents, and fellows as well as provided medical care at a tertiary care University teaching hospital. He has authored numerous scholarly manuscripts published in prestigious journals and has delivered several CME talks to his peers and colleagues at various meeting including Regional ACG meeting. He received a "Scholar in Gastroenterology" award from American Federation of Medical Research (2009) and is honored as a fellow of the American College of Physician (FACP) and American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). He is also a member of American Gastroenterology Association (AGA) and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He also has a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of North Texas in Fortworth.
